Team Alternate Acquires Team Eloblade

News broke today that Team Alternate has picked up the roster of popular EU team Eloblade, bringing back several players that had previously played for the organization.

In a post on their site, Alternate expressed happiness that they could secure the team and that they would be giving a “warm welcome” into the fold.

The team’s roster is as follows:

Carl “ForellenLord” Lückmann (AP Mid)
Markus “Kottenx” Tingvall (Jungle)
Tom “Metalx” Latour (AD Carry)
Łukasz “Leofromkorea” Mirek (Support)
Adrian “Kerp” Wetekam (Top Lane)

Joining them in the management side of things will be Raffael “cliff” Wagner and Jonathan “gin” Baumann. cliff is a former top lane for the team, and has this to say in the news release:

The people and the support have always been awesome. We have 5 individually high skilled players in the new team and they seem to complement one another. Our Team just qualified for IPL 5 Las Vegas and won many other matches in the past weeks. We aim to be top5 in the world and to get into the season 3 championship.

Team Eloblade has been causing some waves as of late, as ForellenLord was the first person to achieve over 3000 ELO. The team also defeated Team Fnatic two games to zero in order to qualify for IPL5 on September 14.
