Salce Gone From TSM.EVO, Rest to Follow Shortly

There have been signs that Team SolodMid’s second squad, SoloMid.EVO, has been teetering on the brink of breakup after some low tournament placings over the past few months.
Trevor “Salce” Salce, the team’s AP Mid, has changed networks from Twitch.tv (which sponsors Team SoloMid) and has began streaming for competitor Own3d.tv.
That network also has a partnership with Team Curse, which appears to be housing Salce for the time being. Salce’s apparent departure is apparently the start of the team’s disbanding, as sources have confirmed with ggChronicle. This story will be updating as more details make themselves known.
SoloMid.EVO has been placing consistently in the lower standings of tournaments recently, being eliminated from the first rounds of the MLG Spring Championships, Summer Championships and this past weekend’s Season Two NA Regionals. Their roster also changed this summer, losing AD Carry Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black to Monomaniac Ferus. The team picked up former EpikGamer sub Brandon “DontMashMe” Phan in response.
TSM.EVO was formed from the remnants of Team EpikGamer in May of 2012; many of the players brought over have been associated with members from TSM’s first squad, either through previous teams or streaming partners.
Twitter buzz has predicted the team’s breakup post-NA Regionals, but a question has to be asked: how long must a team be together with a solid lineup to be deemed a failure? Was it a matter of budgeting? Practice time? As more details emerge from the players, look for these to be answered.
