The IGN Pro League is holding qualifiers over the next couple of weeks for IPL4 which will be a tournament in Las Vegas between eight of the top League of Legends teams.

The top four teams from IPL3 are already invited, which includes Dignitas, Epik Gamer, Counter Logic Gaming, and Team SoloMid.

The 32-team qualifier is open to North American and European teams. The top four teams are invited to IPL4, and the team placing first in the qualifiers will have their travel and hotel costs paid for. Even with the expanding prize pools in League of Legends eSports, there were still lots of funding problems for North American teams going to Kiev, so we will see how willing European teams are to fly to Nevada.

The first round starts today and goes until Feb. 17. These are self-scheduled matches without an official broadcast. The second round begins next weekend, Feb. 18 and 19, at 9:00 a.m. PST. IGN staff plan to stream this round. The final two rounds begin Feb. 25 and 26, at 12:00 p.m. PST, also with broadcasts planned.

Stay tuned to ggChronicle for more updates as the tournament unfolds.
