End of an Era: Team Solomid Captain Retires

| October 6, 2012 | 1 Comment

In the wake of Team Solomid‘s defeat at the Season 2 World Championship, owner and captain Andy ”Reginald” Dinh announces his retirement from professional play.

Reginald founded Solomid in 2009 with brother Dan Dinh, though the team itself was not established until 2011 with a roster originally consisting of Saintvicious, Feedfest, Chaox, TheOddOne and Locodoco. The roster soon changed with the addition of Reginald, Xpecial and TheRainMan – a lineup that would see them win NESL Season One and MLG Providence 2011.

Under Reginald’s guidance, TSM was the first major American team to establish a formal gaming house as their base of operations. He has stated his intent to focus on his duties as brand owner, and possibly as coach and advisor for the team as they pick up their new AP Carry.
