Curse Gaming to Get TSM.EVO’s Spot at IPL5
After earlier news this week that Team SoloMid’s EVO team would be disbanding, it looks like Curse Gaming will be benefiting.
Nick Allen, the League of Legends Operations Manager for the IGN network, announced that as a result of the team’s breakup, Curse will be taking their place instead. They were the runner up during the second qualifying tournament for the event, which was held over the period of May 29th – June 16th.
The only other team qualified for IPL5 is EVO’s former parent team, Team SoloMid. The event kicks off November 29, and will run until December 2.
